Barbie The Welder

Hello! My name is Barbie The Welder, & yes, my name really is Barbie!

I knew I was meant to be a metal sculptor when I saw the woman welding giant angel wings in the movie Cast Away starring Tom Hanks. Soon after I attended BOCES for welding, was hired by a local custom fabrication shop & spent the next 5 years learning the art of welding & fabrication. With that knowledge I taught myself how to design & create metal sculpture!

My craftsmanship & work ethic has attracted the attention of some of the world’s most iconic brands! I have designed & created masterpieces for Harley Davidson (2), Baker's Bourbon (5), The American Welding Society, Miller Welders, two cities, & exclusive clients in several countries.

I'm living inside a dream I had no idea was possible! I invite you to step inside & experience my treasured masterpieces, get a signed copy of my books, or talk with me about creating a masterpiece for you!

"What makes Barbie’s art the coolest is that every piece carries a piece of her inside it. That heart is why Barbie was the perfect artist to create the Harley Davidson 115th anniversary eagle that was presented to Harley Davidson in front of the thousands that gathered at the celebration."

“Adding Barbie’s sculpting expertise to the American Welding Society’s Arc2Art “Metal Maiden” project was a great way to feature her immense talent. The dedication and tireless hours she spent creating this sculpture are truly commendable. Her work will surely spark interest and inspire the tens of thousands who visit the Careers in Welding Trailer each year. “
